The Vets … Yet Again

Dear Humans,

We know you both read our blog so we would like to express our immense displeasure at being taken to vet-man’s evil laboratory yet again yesterday.

We know that your tiny brains thought it was a necessary visit but we do not care about ‘pet passports’ or ‘planning ahead’. We did not ask for micro chips and we really don’t like the shaved patches and stitches on our bodies!

We understand that this has cost you a lot of money but you needn’t have bothered paying it at all so please don’t moan about it! We saw girl-woman working out budgets earlier in the month and we ate the sheet of paper to show her it was a bad plan.

Imagine how much tuna we could have all enjoyed for the price of yesterday’s visit!?

We do however, appreciate the efforts you have gone to, to win back our favour. The new minions place mat in particular is a nice touch, we do love those films.

We also like being allowed to sleep in your bedroom with you. In order to gain a full pardon this will need to continue.

Until we fully forgive you (tuna and bacon will help to speed this process up) we shall be spending a lot of time with our backs to you.

You should take this personally and go fetch tuna whenever we do it.

We shall continue to look after each other but it is imperative that you never again take us to the vets. Doing so may force us to find new humans. Oh and please stop pushing tablets down our throats. We don’t care if ‘they help’ – we don’t want them!

Kind regards,

Your (rather sore) kittens,

Bella and Esme xxx

  1. Goodness you two little girls had quite a time at the vet-man’s. All fixed up with microchips and medicines, and who knows what else! Are you planning a trip? Are you being spoiled with extra food and minion mats just so your humans can pull another fast trick on you??? I’d be suspicious if I were you……..very suspicious!

    Hugs, Sammy

    • Hi Sammy, no trip planned. The humans wanted to get us spayed so we can play outside when they get a new flat and vet-man suggested they micro chip us at the same time so they stupidly agreed. We shall be suspicious for some time now I’m sure! X

  2. Tee! Hee!! Yous guys is good! LOVES how yous is training your humans. Me has some more Hellery hints for yous. After your gardenectomies your humans will feels guilty and now is the time to continues training yous in hellery…especially since they are letting yous sleeps with them!
Scratching!!! Yous needs to leave your mark on the world. The arms of their easy chairs is great places to scratch and claw the fabric. This always gets their attention. Footstools (if yous gots one) are also good scratching posts. It is advised that cats use any fabric surface the humans may provide. They are very protective of what they think is their property and will object strongly if they catch you sharpening your claws on it and play is important. Get enough steep in the daytime so you are fresh for playing catch mouse or king-of-the-hill on their bed between 2 AM and 4 AM. Below are listed several of mt purrsonal favorite cat games yous can plays. First, it is important to maintain your Dignity at all times. If you should have an accident during play, such as falling off a chair, immediately wash a part of your body as if to say “I MEANT to do that!” It fools those humans every time.
Mes hopes yous is feeling OK and don’t forget to let your peoples know that yous displeased with the trip to the vet!

    • Ha ha! These are excellent ideas Nellie! We can definitely get straight on with scratching all the soft furnishings! Good plan for when we fall off things too! Xx

  3. EPIC SHUNS ! You will show those humans ! (But it IS a good idea – especially with the adventures you two have had already !- to be spayed and chipped.)

  4. The vets!! Oh horrors. No good thing ever came from the vets lab. We have a very nice lady vet but she too is quite rude and sticks things in parts of our body that are just for us….nobody else. The longer we go without seeing a VET…the better we are.

  5. Oh, poor little girls! But your humans love you, that’s why it has to happen! 🙂 I feel just the same myself, when I have to take Purdey to the vet. Purdey says she couldn’t agree more, and just the sight of the cat carrier is enough to make her as bushy as a broom. Hope the soreness goes away soon, helped by plenty of tuna!
