Sunday Selfies

Good morning friends, Bella here! Thank you for all your continued well wishes! Esme is healing really well, is taking her meds and getting plenty of rest.

After a morning of playing calmly, I have to admit that I got bored though! We usually play more active games but Esme was still tired and just kept sitting on top of our scratchy post.

So I decided to head off in search of more exciting adventures. I took Mr Prawn with me and together we explored the heights of the kitchen counters.

Mr Prawn was a bit scared once up there but I was brave and explored the gas kettle and the pretty blue flames underneath it. Unfortunately my tail sort of set on fire and there were a few frantic moments whilst girl-woman put out the fire and flapped around a bit. She has now introduced a new ‘no kitties on the counter’ rule which I will ignore.

All I need to do now is stay away from the pretty blue flames – easy!

Anyway, today we have decided to take part in The Cat on My Head Sunday Selfie Blog Hop! You can check out their page and the other photos here: http://thecatonmyhead.com/

We have two selfies to compare today in the hope that our humans will buy us a new bed! Here’s us on our bed a few months ago:

And here’s us on our bed today:

As you can see, we clearly don’t fit anymore! New bed please humans! šŸ™‚

Lots of love Bella and Esme xxx

  1. Esme, you’re looking perky young lady! You really bounced back quickly as only a kitten can from your drama and trauma. Now you MUST keep your sister out of trouble and OFF that stove – burned fur does not smell very pleasant AND both of you are too beautiful to have bits of burned fur on your little bodies! Have fun with Mr. Prawn and your cat tree and have a RESTFUL Sunday!

    Love, Sammy

  3. You ladies have not been having very good luck. Some of us as well as our predecessors have had encounters with the gas stove. Our humans have found the “no counter” rule is terribly hard to enforce. We are sending lots of purrs and prayers to Esme that she makes a full and quick recovery from her fall. Thanks so much for being part four blog hop. We hope you will join us each Sunday. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
